ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN CYPRUS
NATIONAL REPORT 2018/19
The Centre for Entrepreneurship of the University of Cyprus, has recently published the report:
This report presents, among others, the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Cyprus and the most notable entrepreneurial activities taking place in the country, also discussing the path forward and the plans in the research and innovation system.
PHOEBE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION LTD features in page 42 of the report as one of the good practices in startup companies exploiting state-of-the-art research outcomes.
Particular emphasis is given to our products and projets in the Smart Water Systems domain (Leakrisk and WaterAnalytics) and in the Smart Buildings domain (Domognostics+).
About the products
Domognostics™: A cyber-physical system for the monitoring of building environment (e.g. heating, ventilation and airconditioning/air-quality) and detection of anomalies, using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques. The current product version is available for building operators/ owners and/or building automation solutions’ integrators using commercial sensors or BMS data.
WaterAnalytics: makes smart water technologies accessible to all water operators offering them an innovative low-cost intelligent software/hardware solution designed to reduce water system operational expenses, leakages and energy usage, based on state-of-the-art research-based data-analytics, crowd-sourcing and machine learning, to improve the ability in detecting and isolating events within a water network.
LeakRisk™: A smart reporting engine for water distribution
network operators, based on real-time system monitoring using
low-cost water-flow sensors. It analyzes heterogeneous system
data and produces reports indicating the risk of a leakage
present in the system. The current product version is ready for
contract signature and subsequent deployment to customers.
