3. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 3 Entry point of the system for service requests, alerts configurations and reporting Service Management Portal Configure the option to receiving alerts about water - related issues through email or API by setting rules and thresholds on parameters of interest (e.g., send an email if the mean turbidity of the Giaretta lake exceed 13 NTU)

2. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 2 Entry point of the system for service requests, alerts configurations and reporting Service Management Portal Make requests for a service by selecting a water body (i.e., uploading a shp file) and the specific services to be executed in continuous monitoring or on - demand modalities (specific date/range of dates ).

7. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 7 Report water - related issues through a mobile app Crowdsourcing mobile app • Android mobile app that allows citizens and water utility operators to submit their complaints/reports on water - related incidents • Defining the type of incident, the location, the date and time, and also adding textual description and image.

6. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 6 Search and navigate among data products and their metadata Catalogue ( GeoNetwork instance) • Enable search and visualization of metadata referred to WQeMS data products per water body monitored and service. • Useful on one hand to understand which kind of information the WQeMS system can generate. On the other hand, it is another way for registered users to search and reach data products to which they have access to.

5. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 5 Visualize data products on a dedicated web application Map and Data Navigator • Enables registered users to visualize and navigate on a map the requested data products generated by the system. • Visualize metadata associated with each data product. • Generate statistics on the visualized parameters (e.g., mean value of chlorophyll - a on the visualized area of interest). • Enable users to provide feedback on a data product/layer visualized on the map.

9. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action programme under Grant Agreement No 101004157  WQeMS system | slide 9 Integrate services and data products with existing DSSs Trigger functionalities through HTTP APIs : • Service execution requests • Alerts’ configuration and retrieval • Request reports generation Access data product both manually and programmatically : • OGC WMS GetCapabilities/GetMap operations • FTPS access • HTTP File Server OGC WMS / GetCapabilities operation HTTP File Server FTPS Directory HTTP API Flexibility of the system to integrate services with already existing Decision Support Systems adopted by the water utilities.
